Relatively close to the planned apartment tower with basement of the new "East End" in Hilversum, lays a high pressure water and a sewage system. Initially it was planned to realize the construction pit in an open excavation, however, additional research shows that waterworks come to lie in the slope. A ground retaining wall is necessary on the side of the pipe and sewer system to perform the required excavation safely and responsibly. The ground retaining wall is to be provided by a vibration-free method, since vibrations can lead to unacceptable settlements. In addition, the ground retaining wall is to be considered as lost , since the removal of the ground retaining wall gives hollow space, which can lead to unacceptable settlements.

 Because of the relatively hard and sandy foundation of Hilversum , the CSM system is ideal in this situation.
